Chris Bartlett is our guest cohost and he talks with Taylor about an event they both get fired from lol. Chris also brings a new game where he gives Taylor marvel heroes and asks how they would use their talents to benefit the Church. It's a blast!

Will Hickl joins the show to share about his Catholic record label Novum Records and to share some of their Christmas album. As this is our Thanksgiving episode, we know many people start decorating for Christmas sometime this week, including listening to Christmas music so we have a great selection of Advent/Christmas songs to help you prepare the way for Jesus over the next month.

Taylor shares a personal & professional announcement with Allison to kick off the show and then they discuss how they have accumulated enemies at an alarming rate since the pandemmy started. Taylor gets introspective and asks why he has so many enemies, if he needs to change everything, how to deal with enemies internally and struggling to forgive them. Allison gives her wise counsel as always.

They also discuss the recent She-Hulk Marvel series and how it was such a great show and really gave great insight into the differences between men and women by showing the differences between the Hulk & She-Hulk. They have a conversation about the show and highlight some of their favorite moments highlighting women's issues, anger, and friendship.

256: Foundations, Salvation & Storytelling w/Kathryn Whitaker

Taylor drove all the way to Liv's house to record this episode in her home studio. The kick off the show with Chicken Soup for the Schroll: sharing stories of times that God did something awesome for them in their childhood/teen years. They talk about the importance of remembering and sharing what God has done in your life.

Kathryn Whitaker was also in studio and Taylor had a bone to pick with her :) But the three of them shared some things that are anchors or foundations for them as people that keep them strong during even the toughest of times.

To close out the show, Taylor tries a segment about how salvation would work in the multiverse and Liv wanted nothing to do with it. So Taylor tried to pivot and talk about death bed conversions, especially for people who did horrible things and Liv didn't like that idea either lolol.

Super fun episode that we really hope you enjoy! We definitely all did being together in the studio :)

We talk about how the Avengers post-Infinity War are stuck between a rock and a hard place. This is our theme for the day as we begin a conversation about the Israelites being stuck between a rock and a hard place at the Red Sea here and finish it in the 3rd segment. We talk about the "Red Sea Rules"; the lessons we learn from looking at how God worked in this story.

In the second segment, we are rejoined by Tony Vasinda, this time to talk about the work of Project YM and what they are doing to support youth ministers around the world. Tony gives us a peek into the lives of a youth minister that most people don't see and how we can support them as well.
