161: Taylor's Homily, A New Game & A Dinosaur Priest

The first episode recorded in Taylor's home studio, the new Forte Catholic Headquarters!!!

Allison Sullivan cohosts with a skinny margarita as Taylor shares from a recent talk he gave that he's quite proud of. It involves John the Baptist, Confirmation and losing your head.

Resident Rocket Scientist and occasional guest JP Quinn returns with a new segment idea called "Forte, Mezzo or Piano" where he shares potential hot takes and the cohosts argue about them. This led to some of the most insane discussions we've had on the show to date! Have a strong take, let us know on the ol Twitter or Insta.

In the final segment, Taylor calls Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress OP out of the blue so he and Allison can discuss women's ministry. Not what any of us thought we would be talking about today but it's what happened. Enjoy!

Allison Sullivan joins Taylor for the three year anniversary show!!!

Taylor took a 9th grade theology test and...it didn't go well.

Our guests this week are Janine McGann and Liz Sams to share about the film they created "Speaking to Sparrows." (speakingtosparrows.com) This was created for young women to reaffirm their worth in God and help them through their trials.

The final segment is, as Allison put it, "the squirreliest segment we've ever done." She tries to speak about what the Lord has revealed to her about waiting but instead they incessantly make fun of each other. It gets off the rails quick. Enjoy! 😊

Fr. Anthony Sciarappa co-hosts as the guys checkin on how Lent is going so far(uhhhh....whoops) and talk about the ups and downs of the last week. The highlight is really talking about shaving Taylor's beard down to a creeper stache.

We're also joined by THE lovely Beth Davis of Blessed Is She, this tremendous ministry for Catholic women...that the dudes didn't know much about because...well...the whole dude thing.
