Episode 72: Growing in Virtue & Rapid-fire Catholic Q&A w/ Doug Tooke

This episode focuses on growing in virtue always, but especially during this focused spiritual season of Lent. Producer Sam shares what virtue truly is and how to grow in it during the first segment.

In the second segment, we are joined by Doug Tooke, the host of the "Renovo" podcast. Taylor recently found his show and loves it! He talks about things you don't typically hear about Catholicism at Church and probably didn't learn as a kid. We found it so interesting finally figuring out who Melchizedek is and why the heck we use candles in prayer. Taylor throws Doug a random topic and he has to explain it in less than two minutes. He is a champ!

In the final segment, Taylor continues to talk about growth in virtue with some help from a new way of looking at why we settle for sin and how we can truly live out the story God has planned for us.

Episode 55: Listener Questions Taylor Isn't Smart Enough To Answer

A few months ago, I got a lot of questions and topic ideas from you, the listeners. A few of them, I am definitely not smart enough to answer...so I brought in help :)

In the second segment, I am joined by my friend Adrian Charles who is studying Theology in Rome! He gives us an introduction into the topics of Natural Law and Logic.

In the third segment, Texas A&M Philosophy student and Ablaze Missionary Becka Landry rejoins the show to talk about Metaphysics(a class I didn't understand and barely passed.)

Also on this episode, we talk about a police officer friend of mine who listens to the show on patrol and discuss some Forte Catholic history trivia. Thanks for listening!

Episode 4: Birthdays, Money & Christian Brotherhood

Live show from RED-C Radio on my birthday! We had a lot of fun today with some interaction with the audience with questions from social media and streaming the third segment of the show on Facebook live.

In the first segment, I spoke about the recent conference I went to for ministry and shared what I learned about the importance of questions. Jesus was a master teacher and used questions to get many of His points across. I walk through how Jesus used questions and what we can learn from that.

Then, I interviewed a fellow missionary, Matthew Bachali, that I met at the conference. He is a great man of God that I had a lot of fun with at the conference. We talked about the great experience we had of Christian brotherhood and how we can carry that back in to our day to day lives.

Then in the final segment, I answered a few listener questions, wrapped up the conversation about questions and had the second Forte Five segment on our relationship as Christians with money.
