Taylor visits Fr. Anthony and they record from the rectory. Taylor suggests seven Catholic things and asks Father whether they are more helpful for evangelization or more of a hinderance. They agree on a few, disagree on other but have good conversations about all.

Then, in honor of last year's discussion on the morality of the zombie apocalypse, this year Taylor has a new scenario where we explore the grey area of Catholic morality: being stranded at sea. This is inspired by a true story of men stranded at sea after killer whales attacked their boat and the incredible yet horrifying story of their survival.

Allison Sullivan cohosts as Taylor shares about his crazy week of starting school, working a retreat and the Encounter Texas conference all in the span of five days! Even through the sleep deprivation, he had some really cool moments in prayer, including crying(again…yep…) It was a beautiful reminder of some of the most basic truths of the Gospel.

Our guest this week is Mary Lenaburg, one of Allison’s favorite people on the planet! She is a leading speaker and author with a profound story of walking with God through some very difficult situations. She shares the story behind her new book, “Being Brave in the Scared: How I Learned to Trust God in the Most Difficult Days of My Life.” Her’s is one of the most powerful stories of leaning into God within the depths of despair, frustration, anger and loss.

In the final segment, Taylor and Allison talk about a new ministry they helped created with their local parish all for evangelization and the often forgotten pre-evangelization. They talk about why they saw a need for this ministry and the fruits they’ve seen from it already.

In the second segment, Trent Horn returns to the show to talk about his new book "Why We're Catholic." This book is flying off the shelves due to its non-confrontational style to urge people to grow in their faith instead of trying to win them over simply through argument.

In the final segment, we play a rapid fire question and answer game with those in studio. This is to help get across the point that building trust and getting to know who people are is the necessary first step in evangelization.

The show was pre-recorded this week as I am currently leading a Junior High Summer Camp! In the spirit of summer camp, we talked pre-evangelization, what fun has to do with faith and how events like this can really be an avenue to bring people to Christ.

So often, we try to catechize people who haven't been evangelized and evangelize people without making a human connection with them first. In this episode we explore how we can bring Christ to others no matter where they are in their journey with him.

I am also joined by Vern Laborde from Deer Creek Camp to hear how they impact the lives of young people in a huge way each summer! Hear her stories, insights and her love for camp!

In the final segment, we dive a little deeper into the topic of prayer. So many of us struggle with prayer and I will walk through two stories from Scripture that can help us when we don't feel like praying.

This weekend, I went on a retreat called "Stressed Out" about how to deal with stress as a Christian. I share what I learned over the weekend and how it applies to our Lenten season. We also do a Forte Five countdown segment of the best 5 things I've ever given up for Lent.

I am also joined by the founder of Saint Paul Street Evangelization. He has a great story of how God has worked in his life and also talks about how their ministry works and what they can do to help us grow in our ability to share the Gospel.
